Born in the year 1961 to Mrs. and Mr. Maria Antony, Dr. M. LELLIS THIVAGAR, M.Sc., Ph.D., worked as Professor & Head, School of Mathematics Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.

He had his school education in St. Xavier's higher Secondary School, Palayamkottai, known also as 'The Oxford of South India'. After his graduation from St. John's College, Palayamkottai, He pursued his post graduation at the prestigious Loyola College, Chennai and obtained doctoral degree from the illustrious Madurai Kamaraj University,Madurai.
